3. Identify the person (guru for many, known for his rants) and the language X, that led to a popular saying on the Internet that he doesn't know X

X is a horrible language. It's made more horrible by the fact that a lot of substandard programmers use it, to the point where it's much much easier to generate total and utter crap with it. Quite frankly, even if the choice of C were to do *nothing* but keep the X programmers out, that in itself would be a huge reason to use C.

4. Identify (easy):

5. Identify this, which in the world of computer software takes a long long time to install and yet is the fastest in its field:

What is being talked about here (identify the software).

3. X was launched in Japan on December 3, 1994, North America on September 9, 1995, Europe on September 29, 1995, and Oceania in November 15, 1995. The launch price in the American market was US$299.

X was also able to generate interest with a unique series of advertising campaigns. Many of the ads released at the time of launch were full of ambiguous content. The most well-known launch ads include the "Enos Lives" campaign, and the "U R Not e" ads (the "e" in "U R Not e" was always colored in red, to symbolize the word "ready", and the "Enos" meant "ready Ninth Of September", the US launch date).

6.In 1993 an advertisement appeared in many Irish newspapers calling for auditions to form a new Irish boy band group. More than 300 people replied to the advertisement. At the auditions the applicants were asked to sing the song Careless Whisper by George Michael. Each audition would be taped and watched again to judge the applicant's performance. Out of the 300, 50 were selected for a second audition.

For the second audition the applicants where asked to sing two songs, including one of their own choice with a backing tape. One of the eventually to be band member sang " Two Out of Three Ain't Bad "by Meat Loaf. The second sang " I am Too Sexy " by Right Said Fred. The other sang " Father and Son " by Cat Stevens (a cover version of which the band would later release).
Out of this 50, 10 were selected for a third audition. In the end, A,B,C,D,E & F were chosen. G originally was rejected but would later join after the departure of D.

A initially faced a lot of opposition from his parents and teachers. He was planning to move to New York to study in college on a sports scholarship and pursue his dream to win an Olympic medal for athletics. In the end A decided to give up his education and go along with the band. C's parents were against their son's throwing away a solid and promising career and joining the band. The manager set about trying to get a deal with a good record company but it would take many rejection letters before the boys would be signed. In 1994 E and C were involved in a nearly fatal car crash, but luckily both survived without serious injuries.

Identify the band.
This was one of my favorite bands....
